As President of Skyline Retail REIT, Craig oversees the operational and financial performance of its national real estate portfolio, comprising more than five million square feet of grocery and pharmacy-anchored retail assets. He directs efforts to optimize performance relative to budget through active asset management and the successful execution of property-specific business plans. His strategic approach aims to identify opportunities for enhancing net operating income and overall portfolio growth for the REIT.
With over 22 years of experience across both the Canadian and UK real estate markets, Craig brings a wealth of knowledge to Skyline Retail REIT. He began his career in the UK before relocating to Canada in 2013. Prior to joining Skyline, Craig served as Director in Morguard REIT’s Retail Asset Management division, where he oversaw its national grocery-anchored retail portfolio in addition to various enclosed mall and third-party owned assets.
Craig has also held multiple roles at Deloitte, most recently as a Vice President within the Canadian real estate advisory team and, prior to that, as part of its UK capital markets team focusing on real estate investment opportunities predominantly in the retail sector. Craig has also worked for CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield in appraisal and capital markets capacities, respectively.
Craig is a long-standing member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AACI) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), holding the AACI P.App and MRICS designations, in addition to being an active member of the ICSC. As President of Skyline Retail REIT, Craig is committed to driving strategic growth and maximizing value for stakeholders.
