Skyline Retail REIT sells property in Winnipeg, Manitoba

On August 22, 2023, Skyline Retail REIT sold a retail property at 2211 Pembina Highway in south Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The single-tenant property totals 15,780 square feet and is currently occupied by Shoppers Drug Mart.

“When evaluating Skyline Retail REIT’s portfolio, 2211 Pembina Highway was identified as a geographic outlier and appropriate for strategic disposition,” said Gord Driedger, President, Skyline Retail REIT. “This is a quality asset situated in a prime location and anchored by a strong tenant, which appeals to local investors looking to expand their holdings, so its sale was an opportunity for Skyline Retail REIT to surface further value for our investors.”

Post-disposition, the REIT comprises 117 properties in 69 communities in 5 provinces across Canada, with a total of 5,447,094 square feet of retail space.
